At Gazelles Fringe Event I chaired and delivered a fast pace workshop task putting the whole audience through their entrepreneurial paces by challenging them to devise and deliver a business pitch to Paul Lindley founder of Ella’s kitchen.
This was a unique student-focused conference alongside the main Accelerate 2013 event which was, to say the least, truly an inspirational event. The speakers on the day were amazing and amongst them were some standout individuals:
- Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia
- Doug Richard, founder of School for Startups
- Paul Lindley, founder of Ella’s Kitchen
- General Sir Mike Jackson, former Chief of the General Staff
- Lord Young, Prime Minister’s Enterprise Adviser
I left this event with a notepad of improved ideas and some new ones.
For me the quote of the day had to be –
I love working with toddlers because they are honest, if they don’t like one of my recipes they will throw it up the wall.
